4th Avenue in Prince George will be undergoing a huge transformation this summer.
The City says the street will be converted from three lanes of one-way traffic to two lanes of two-way traffic.
Engineering Supervisor Heather Andreychuk says the change is to increase safety along the downtown corridor.
Upgrades will include increasing sidewalk space and improved signals at Dominion and Queensway.
She says work will run from June to August at a budgeted cost of $400,000.
