The City of Prince George has launched a new fact check page on their website.
In a release, they said the page “will seek to correct or clarify information found on other public sites as well as provide a tool for residents to submit questions.”
Citizens can also leave a question on the fact check page that the city may choose to address – according to the city, “staff will select questions from the submissions or pick current hot topics to address and provide thorough responses, supported with data and reports where appropriate, on the page. Some questions will receive a response directly to the person who submitted it.”
There are currently five fact check articles posted on the page.
