Lamb coached the Cats to a 37-24-6-1 record this season, finishing fourth place in the Western Conference and second in the BC Division.
This is a massive improvement over last season where the Cougars finished 6th with a 24-39-4-1 record.
The Cougars are in action tonight in Kennewick, Washington when they play game four of their round one series against the Tri-City Americans.
After a 4-2 loss last night, the Cougars trail the best-of-seven series 2-1.
