BC’s cancer agency is celebrating its research centre and its tenth birthday.
VP of Research Famuel Abraham says the researchers are world class, and have found how cancer develops and evades treatment:
“…To give us a real feeling for what the actual changes are within the tumor and to attempt to address those, ranging from potential treatments to likely targets that we may come up with”
Abraham says the centre started with a number of individuals coming together for the common goal of dealing with cancer problems in the Province.
