Efforts to get money for a pool in Vanderhoof have been on going.
The fundraising committee has currently raised $212,000 and is on its way to getting $500,000.
Chair Zoe Dhillon says they started in September of last year and have held a series of events since last fall.
“And then at the Vanderhoof Trade Show in May we did well, so it really was the momentum of these events and then getting a lot of donations from these people through our funding brochure submitted to the district.”

Dhillon says they need to raise the $500,000 by February 2018.
However she says they want to raise that by the end of the year.
