St. John Ambulance in Prince George is in the midst of getting a new First Mobile Post.
The organization is wanting to purchase an $18,000 decommissioned ambulance to help in times of disaster.
Divisional Superintendent Eric Peng says it would also provide patient care.
“Whether it is to give the patient privacy,” says Peng, “or just a nice controlled environment for our members to work on a patient.”

Peng says they are hoping to raise around $10,000 by the end of the year for the ambulance.
He says people who want to donate can drop off bottles at the PG Recycling Depot.
