A local family has been going through a difficult period, and friends and family have come together for a fundraising effort.
The Kuenzel family finds both mother and father battling cancer. This, after losing their 18 month old daughter to sudden unexplained death syndrome.
Now, with medical bills starting to pile up, family and friends have come together for a fundraiser at the Hart Community Centre this weekend, and coordinator Sherilynn Seftel says it couldn’t come at a better time:
“So they still have their 17 year old daughter who wants to be a Registered Nurse, and their car has recently just gone kaput. So they have no vehicle, and it’s really just been one thing after another.”
Seftel says tickets for the fundraiser have sold out. However, a go fund me page is available, and donations can be made here
