The largest comedy tour in Canada is returning to Prince George next month.
Last year’s show was heavily impacted by the pandemic, and organizers are hoping that things go a lot smoother with less restrictions and worry.
Libby Garfield, a Snowed In spokesperson, said Murphy’s Law was in full effect surrounding last years show with problems like “venue capacity changes, ever-changing provincial health restrictions, performers testing positive for COVID and needing last minute replacements” all making things difficult for organizers.
Four comedians are taking the tour – Snowed In provided a brief summary of each of them:
Erica Sigurdson – More than 70 appearances on The Debaters, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs, Halifax Comedy Festival.
Pete Zedlacher – Six-time nominee of the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-up, Winner of Sirius XM’s Top Comic, eight appearances at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival, Halifax And Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
Dan Quinn – Winner of Canadian Competition at Just for Laughs, opened for Rob Schneider & Russell Peters, Best of Fest Moncton Comedy Festival, TV Special on Check TV & Comedy Network.
Paul Myrehaug – CBC’s The Debaters, winner of the $25,000 Great Canadian Laugh off, Just For Laughs & Comedy Now on CTV.
Sigurdson and Quinn are both from BC.
The tour will arrive in Prince George with two shows on January 13th, 6:30 and 9:30 pm, both at the Playhouse.
