It is a bad time to be a last second holiday shopper.
Pine Centre Mall’s side entrance by Sport Check has been roped off by multiple crews working on what is suspected to be a water main break.
Similar breaks have been common around town in the temperatures remain at historic December lows.
Pine Centre was able to confirm to My PG Now that Sport Check is closed, but did not disclose why, or when it might re-open.
People parked, or who are parking in that side lot will have a much longer walk through the cold to get in to or out of the mall until that entranceway reopens.
