$18.5 million in building permits issued in Prince George in November

2022 is continuing to be a strong year for development in Prince George.

According to a report that will be presented to city council tomorrow, last month, 40 building permits were issued by the city, with a total worth over $18.5 million, including:

  • Two Commercial alterations, with a total value of $307,086
  • Six new industrial buildings, $1,100,000
  • Two institutional alterations, $4,300,000
  • One duplex alteration, $199,267.89
  • Four new duplexes, $2,496,872
  • Four multi-family dwelling alterations, $5,252,813.36
  • Three garages/carports, $72,105.00
  • One new mobile dwelling, $140,448

From January to the end of November this year, the city had issued 453 building permits, with a total value of $249,080,873.22.

In all of 2021, building permit values reached nearly $238 million.

Other items on the agenda for tomorrow’s city council meeting include a Life Cycle Cost Analysis for the proposed Mega Park, and a Civic Core Plan update.
