The College of New Caledonia has recognized its Industry Partner Award winner.
This year’s recipient is Dunkley Lumber’s Jason Fisher for his role in creating a partnership between the company and the college.
Fisher says the partnership helps supports CNC’s natural resource and forestry programs.
“The relationship between Dunkley and CNC is a contract that is in place that has Dunkley co-managing the research forest with CNC, and purchasing the timber from the research forest.”
Students have benefited from Fisher’s guidance through mill site tours and research projects.
