Organizers for this year’s Art Hawkins Great Canadian Ultimate Game are pleased with the turnout.
Last night, 17 people gathered at Spruceland Elementary to play Ultimate Frisbee as part of an international game.
Organizer Greg Jonuk says for one hour they took over the game that saw a score of 37 for the White Team and 32 for the Red Team.
“And we elevated it out of Prince George to 48 White and 43 Red,” says Jonuk, “so there wasn’t any change in the deviation in the teams, but we had a great game it was a fairly competitive game.”
Jonuk says they also able to raise 125 dollars for local Ultimate efforts.
The game will end in Victoria at midnight.
