Plethora of UNBC student-athletes achieve Academic All-Canadian status

29 student-athletes at UNBC have been recognized as Academic All-Canadians.

Today, the Timberwolves recognized their tremendous results in the 2021-2022 school year

The annual U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian ceremony honors students who have achieved a Grade Point Average of 3.67 (an A- letter grade) or higher.

The 29 Timberwolves who achieved Academic All-Canadian is the most in a regular academic year in UNBC history.

“We couldn’t be more proud of our student-athletes who continue to excel on and off the court and pitch,” said Loralyn Murdoch, UNBC Director of Athletics/Recreation.

“The time management and commitment it takes to excel in this way are incredible. Our Timberwolves continue to raise the bar, and I am thrilled for our Academic All-Canadians.”

With a staggering collective GPA of 3.75, the Women’s Basketball team won the annual Office of the Provost Academic Achievement Award, given to the Timberwolves varsity team with the highest GPA during the season.
