The BC government is pleased with how its LNG Buy BC tool has been received.
Last November, the government launched its resource to connect liquefied natural gas companies with other businesses.
Jobs Minister Shirley Bond says the tool provides LNG opportunities.
“Things like connecting with suppliers and building partnerships,” says Bond, “the goal of the tool is a place where they can be matches made where we have businesses in British Columbia who have certain services and supplies and then we have proponents who have demands across quite a wide sector.”
Bond says they have 585 companies that are registered with the tool.
She says they are planning on continuing their outreach to get more people working with it.
