Henman’s torrid scoring pace leads to second Canada West Player of the Week award

The accolades continue to roll in for Michael Henmen of the UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer.

After scoring four goals over the weekend in a pair of victories against the MacEwan Griffins and the Saskatchewan Huskies – which included his record-breaking fourth hat-trick of the season was named Canada West Player of the Week.

This is the second time this season Henman has picked up the conference award.

The Victoria product leads the entire Canada West with 15 goals and is fourth all-time for most goals in a single season.

Henman and UNBC (5-4-1) are back in action this Friday and Saturday against the UBC Thunderbirds (5-2) in Vancouver.

Kickoff for both games is at 7:30 pm.
