Frizzell hoping to make partnerships with provincial and federal governments with fifth council term

Garth Frizzell will be looking to reclaim his seat on Prince George City Council in October.

Frizzell said he’s looking to make partnerships with the provincial and federal governments to tackle some of the issues facing our city, such as mental health, addictions, housing, and homelessness.

“These aren’t areas that are traditionally the focus of municipalities, but these things are hurting people, and they’re hitting hard,” Frizzell said.

“So we’re going to need to step up and connect with those other orders of government to get some solutions forward.”

Frizzell adds the city is facing some big challenges over the next few years, such as infrastructure that will need to be replaced.

Frizzell has served four terms as a City Councillor in Prince George.

The municipal election will take place on Saturday, October 15th.
