The race for PG City Council has its first candidate.
This afternoon (Monday) at City Hall, Wesley Mitchell announced he would be running for a seat.
“I want to help solve community issues, such as homelessness, and the sad condition of our downtown core,” Mitchell said.
“I have lived on the streets myself, I have lived through tough issues and I can relate to many of the people downtown, not only in Prince George, but in British Columbia and Canada, and I have real solutions for the people of Prince George to consider.”
Mitchell is the co-founder of the University Hospital of Northern B.C. Drummers.
The municipal election will take place on October 15th.
