A kitchen fire sent firefighters to Westmount Crescent this morning.
Just after 11 am, three fire halls were sent to the 6700 block of Westmount Crescent where smoke was coming from the second floor.
Two residents were in the home at the time but got out safely.
Investigators say it appears hot oil in a pan on the stove ignited, spreading to kitchen cabinets.
Damage is estimated at $15,000.
