Severe thunderstorm watch ended for PG

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for Prince George.

Environment Canada has issued a Severe thunderstorm watch for Prince George.

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain.

The Severe Thunderstorm warning for the PG area has now ended according to Environment Canada.

Environment Canada has now put PG under a severe thunderstorm warning.

It’s capable of producing up to nickel-size hail and heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is just west of Prince George and moving northwards.

Communities in its path include Telachick, Mud River, and Beaverly.

Mother Nature might be opening up the skies again in Prince George.

According to Environment Canada, a severe thunderstorm watch is in place for the city.

Conditions are favorable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, or torrential rainfall.
