Cruisin Classics Father’s Day Show ‘n Shine returns after two-year absence

A Father’s Day tradition in Prince George is returning to its former glory.

The Cruisin Classics Car Club is hosting its Show ‘n Shine at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park on Sunday.

President, Chris Knight told MyPGNow.com they are looking forward to another healthy turnout after a couple of years away.

“We had over 400 (cars) in our parade last year and we had way over 300 the year before and traditionally we get between three and four hundred cars so we are hoping we get 400.”

He added the whole group is looking forward to a more fan-friendly event once again.

“We replaced the two shows with two parades (due to the pandemic), which was a reasonable facsimile but it’s much more enjoyable in our opinion to get up close and personal with the car owners and have conversations with their vehicles.”

“The origin of the vehicles, the modifications, and why people chose certain vehicles that they have because we have cars, trucks, bikes, big rigs, rat rods – we have everything in the park on Sunday.”

Knight encourages everyone that does show up to enjoy the live music, food trucks, and conversation with the car owners.

The event begins at 10 am.
