A number of fire training sessions are being hosted at the Prince George Airport (YXS) this week.
They will take place from Tuesday to Thursday (June 14th to 16th) from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on all three days.
Locals are reminded these fires pose no threat to the public or surrounding areas.
These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification.
As a result, dark smoke may be seen in and around the airport area.
