Jack Stockfish is trading one crown for the other.
The 20-year-old forward was acquired by the Prince George Spruce Kings from the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League today (Monday) in exchange for future considerations.
Last season, the College of Holy Cross commit notched 50 points in 47 games in Ontario.
“I was very excited (about the trade) as the Spruce Kings have a reputation for being a first-class organization with exceptional coaching and a great track record. There is a long history of
winning and developing players to the next level. Graduated players had nothing but great things to say about their experience playing for this team and this town. I couldn’t be more thrilled to finish off my junior career as a Spruce King,” said Stockfish.
Prior to his time in Pembroke, Stockfish tallied 23 goals and 37 assists in 2018-19 for his hometown North Bay Trappers Midget AAA program.
