Update, 9:44 a.m., May 7th
Jazz Aviation told Vista Radio in an email that the aircraft operating flight AC8350 bound for Vancouver (YVR) developed a hydraulic pressure issue shortly after take-off from YXS.
As per standard operating procedures, the crew requested a priority landing as a precautionary measure, and the aircraft landed at YXS safely and uneventfully.
Jazz Aviation maintenance personnel will conduct a thorough inspection of the aircraft to determine the cause and proceed with repairs.
There were no adverse effects on the 36 passengers or four crew members.
The passengers will be travelling on alternative flights today.
