YXS donating 3,000 square feet of storage to BC Summer Games

The Prince George Airport Authority is providing 3,000 square feet of storage space to help put on the BC Summer Games.

“When we look at welcoming over 3,000 athletes and participants and athletes to our community, there is a lot of gear that is required to stage these games,” said Mindy Stroet, Director of Friends of the Games.

“Really, it’s critical the support the airport is providing us in giving us this warehouse space.”

Stroet said the space will be used for everything from cones, signs, and the 3,000 foam mattresses that the athletes will sleep on.

“We are so grateful that the Prince George Airport Authority is donating this warehouse space for the leadup and duration of the BC Summer Games,
