City of PG launching Young Professionals Network

The City of Prince George is launching a new initiative to provide professionals who are new to the city or growing their careers with opportunities to connect others and the community.

“We’ve been hearing from new residents and their employers that there’s a need for more opportunities to make connections in Prince George,” said Christina Doll, Workforce Development Officer.

“We’re hoping that the Young Professionals Network will provide a starting point for people to build professional and personal connections and will assist local employers in retaining employees they’ve attracted from other communities.”

The initiative is targeted at professionals between the ages of 21 and 45, but is open to anyone looking to grow their personal or professional networks.

There will also be a minimum of  four social and professional development events held per year, the first of which will be held at the Canadian Brewhouse on May 13th.

You can sign up for the Young Professionals Network of Prince George (YPNPG) for free here.
