Local Charms for Change looks to support Rotary WASH project

The Prince George Rotaract Club is selling wellness inspired bundles from local small businesses.

The Local Charms for Change fundraising initiative sees these bundles, valued at $150, be sold for $100 each to fund the Rotary WASH project.

Britney Szarka with the club said there are items revolving around skincare, bath bombs, candles, linen sprays, socks, and teas.

“It’s going until we sell out our boxes. We have ten bundles created, so hopefully we have ten people in our community that are interested in purchasing those.”

People have until the end of April to buy a bundle.

Szarka said the WASH project is an initiative to get clean water to places where they may not have easy access to it.

She added that they’re also on the lookout for potential new members as well.

“We are a smaller club here in Prince George, but it is of students and young professionals looking to get more involved in Prince George or the BC community.”
