Prince George RCMP’s Downtown Safety Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act warrant with the Street Crew Unit and frontline officers at a home on the 1900 block of Upland Street on Friday (April 1st).
Police found suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as prescription pills, along with a loaded firearm, multiple weapons, $2000 in cash, and items related to drug trafficking.
One man was arrested, who was later released pending results from the investigation.
“While conducting their investigation into suspected drug trafficking, Downtown Safety Unit recognized that the majority of people visiting the home were people occupying the downtown core. This residence was likely being used to supply illicit drugs to those who live and frequent the area,” said Cpl Jennifer Cooper.
