PG Hospice Palliative Care Colour Walk set to return in May

This year’s Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Colour Walk is back to being in person.

“For the last two years we had to do it virtually because of the pandemic,” said PG Hospice Palliative Care Society Executive Director Donna Flood.

“We’re excited that we’re still going to do the virtual Facebook month-long ‘walk 100 km in the month of May’ but we’re going to end it off with our live event at the CN Centre.”

This year, the money raised will go towards the society’s outdoor Rec Room.

“What’s really important is that hospice really supports our community in a way that the community needs,” Flood said.

“We’ve really had to enhance our programs during COVID-19, we’ve found there’s been an increase in need in our community programs.”

The event at the end of the month will take place on May 29th in the CN Centre parking lot from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..

You can register for the Colour Walk here.
