$500,000 in damage was caused to a house in the Hart this afternoon.
At 1:30 Sunday afternoon, 16 firefighters responded to the fire on the 5000 block of Ferguson Lake Road.
Crews had to take a defensive attack to get into the home.
No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.
A preliminary investigation found that it was a cooking fire and deemed an accident.
