Ministry of Poverty Reduction move spurs Downtown PG petition

The Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction is looking to move from their location in Prince George, and Downtown PG is opposed to their potential new site.

They’ve created a petition to stop the relocation from 1445 10th avenue to 490 Brunswick Street, citing that the new location is too close to a daycare, a senior centre, a church, and other businesses.

The petition said that the Ministry is valuable to the community as a whole, but added that it has not:
