The Community Arts Council of Prince George announced a new annual event, the BC Gourmet Arts Festival, that will run from June 10th to the 12th in Prince George.
The event at the CN Centre will feature things like a community BBQ, a chili cook-off, and a tasting event, but they are also looking for potential vendors.
“We can hardly wait to see the CN Centre filled with some of the region and nation’s top gourmet producers, alongside our extremely talented local artists, resulting in one of the most unique food-themed events in Canada,” said Council Executive Director Eli Klasner.
“We are working with our event co-producers so that the festival will be a truly community-focused event that encourages residents from all walks of life, and visitors to the area, to enjoy three full days of shopping, tasting, and fun social activities.”
Klasner added that admission is free, but people are asked to make a voluntary donation, along with non-perishable food items at the door.
More information can be found on the BC Gourmet Arts Festival web page.
