The 24th annual Nulki Lake fishing derby takes place this long weekend.
A wide range of categories offer prizes up to as much as $3000 for first place. Entry fees start at $50 for adults, $40 for seniors, $20 for students with anyone under 12 fishing for free.
The entry fee also gets your name in the hat for a range of door prizes from local businesses such as bicycles and tools.
Camping is available along the lake and children’s activities will be available. Registration opens Friday at 8am.
