Vanderhoof health fair ready to get started

Parents in Vanderhoof have the chance to get their children ready for school.

The health clinic is holding its annual Kindergarten Health Fair later this week.

Public Health Nurse Stephanie Cardinal says this is a one-stop venue:

“It’s basically to get kids ready for Kindergarten, all their screenings up to date. So vision, hearing, dental and also gives us a chance to get their immunizations caught up”

Cardinal says the process usually take about an hour per child.
