Wednesdays McHappy day managed to raise quite a sizable sum here in Prince George.
Val O’Connor is the owner and operator of the Prince George McDonalds and says the 22nd McHappy day couldn’t have gone any better:
“We had a new record again, we had $20,229. It goes 100% to the Child Development Centre to help with the services of the kids, they serve over 1200 children every year”
O’Connor – who is also on the board of the CDC – says most people are aware of the support for Ronald McDonald house in Vancouver, but says everyone really came together locally to support the centre in a similar effort.
