“We’re finding that all of the local mail outlets are bursting with parcels right now.”
That’s according to Local 812 President and Postal Clerk Rick Harris.
“The flow of mail that has come in in the last week has been enormous,” Harris explained.
“If you get a mail card in your mailbox, as long as it’s been 24 hours from the date of the card, if people feel safe and comfortable, could they please come down and pick up their parcels. There’s a lot of mail that is sitting there and they can’t contain it all.”
