The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) is reporting a slight increase in new COVID-19 cases in Prince George’s Local Health Area (LHA).
There were 60 new cases reported in the area between December 12th and 18th. The week before (December 5th and 11th) there were 76.
The BCCDC’s latest data shows 66% of people 70 and older in the Prince George LHA have now had their third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. A week ago, 58% of seniors had their booster dose.
For kids, 22% of those between the ages of 5 and 11 have now had their first dose, and increase from 15% last week.
88% of people 12 and older in the PG LHA have now had their first dose of a vaccine, and 83% have had a second, no change for either dose from last week.
