The number of high school classes in School District 57 with over 30 students seems to be low.
That was one of the findings in Superintendent Brian’s Pepper report on class size and composition.
In the second semester, there were only 15 classes that had over 30 students.
Pepper says these classes are for more larger scale classes.

“Things like leadership, band programs, independent studies programs,” says Pepper, “from time to time there are classes where, there is only one of a particular type of class.”
Of these 15 classes, 9 have over 3 students on independent education programs.
