CN Centre gets ready for indoor walking

Prince George’s CN Centre will be opening its doors again for indoor walking for the fall and winter seasons.

The tentative start date for the program is October 18th, and during Monday’s City Council meeting Director of Community Services, Adam Davey said they’d have more information for the public next week.

“So similar to last year free indoor walking shall be available on the concourse of CN Centre. Registration and proof of vaccination are required. The current intent is to reopen on Monday, October 18th to coincide with the seasonal closing of Masich Place,” said Davey.

The City will be investing $40,000 to staff the CN Centre.

Indoor walking will be available from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

Once residents register, either on the City’s website or by calling 311, they can arrive anytime during operating hours.

“This was very well received more than ever by our citizens. And I believe that utilizing again the registration component guarantees safety for everyone,” said Councillor Susan Scott.
