Ties are starting to feel like wins for the UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team.
Owen Stewart (2) and Connor Lewis rippled the onion bag in the last seven minutes to earn a 3-3 draw against the UBC Thunderbirds in Vancouver.

UBC jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half courtesy of Sebastian Dzikowski, Bradley Richardson and Nick Fussel.
UNBC (0-3-3) out shot the T-Birds (1-0-3) 16-15.
On Friday, the Timberwolves fell 1-0 to UBC.
Tristan Nkoghe scored in the 38th minute of the contest.
In women’s action, the Timberwolves dropped a pair of decisions by scores 3-0 (Saturday) and 1-0 (Friday).
During the opening game of the weekend, T-Wolves goalkeeper Brooke Molby made 14 saves in defeat, only allowing a Katalin Tolnai marker in the 89th minute.

Tess McRae and Danielle Steer (2) solved Molby in the back half of the double-header to improve to 4-0 on the season.
UNBC drops to 0-6.
Both varsity teams host the UBCO Heat at Noon and 6pm from Masich Place Stadium Friday and Saturday.
