With a balanced federal budget comes lots of positive reaction from at least one MP.
Prince George – Peace River’s Bob Zimmer says the accelerated capital cost allowance for LNG is also huge:
“The potential it has just to bring up service levels for everybody across the Province, it’s there, and we are working on it hard. We’ve also increased that 25 year permitting license for LNG to 40 years which makes it even more of a cost effective place to invest”
He says the the $1.4 billion dollar surplus was also a welcomed addition, and mentioned that the small business tax credits recognize just how important small businesses are to the Canadian economy.
