Its a good news budget for small business owners.
That coming from the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses as they give the budget an “A” grade.
B-C and Alberta Vice President Richard Truscott says the big item for them is the feds dropping the small business tax rate from eleven to nine percent by 2019.
“While it is only a two point drop,” says Truscott, “we have not seen a reduction in quite a few years, and even a small drop like we’ve seen is actually big dollars for small business but people should know that is money that will go into the pockets of entrepreneurs but is not going to stay there.”
Truscott says members say they would use that extra cash to pay down debt, buy new equipment and improve employee training.
He says while there are not many things they are against, they do take issue with the low amount of debt the government is retiring.
Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
