West Coast Amusements extends its stay in PG

The BCNE is wrapping up today (Sunday) at 7 PM, but West Coast Amusements will be sticking around and will continue the fair in Prince George.

After taking Monday and Tuesday off, the fair will resume from Wednesday, August 25 to Saturday the 28th.

West Coast Amusements had planned on stopping in Williams Lake, Kamloops, and Salmon Arm over the next four weeks, but Interior Health’s latest public health orders have completely canceled their plans.

“They were unable to move on, so they have spoken with the City of Prince George and have been able to extend their stay,” said Sylvia Layzell, General Manager for the BCNE.

Layzell adds the BCNE was a big success this year.

“The auction went well, our food trucks did amazingly well, quite a few of them have sold out.”
