The City of Prince George has announced that they are moving park benches, picnic tables, and other park amenities near mature deciduous trees in parks around the city.
This comes after a man died from a tree branch falling and hitting him on August 6th.
The City said the incident at Paddlewheel Park is still being investigated and offers its condolences to the family, friends, and anyone else affected by this event.
