PG Hospice holds its Dream Big for Hospice event for the Dream Home Draw

The Prince George Hospice Society is holding a Celebrity Ticket Seller event for their $800,000 Dream Home Draw on Wednesday (August 18).

The event will run from 6 AM to 6 PM, PG Hospice is hoping to sell 1,000 tickets in 12 hours, and anyone who purchases their tickets during that time will be entered to win $500 worth of 50/50 Hospice Raffle tickets.

Donna Flood with the PG Hospice says people like Shirley Bond, Bruce Williams, and Todd Doherty are just some of the people helping with sales on Wednesday.

“What’s interesting is all of them have been impacted by Hospice and are there to show their appreciation for the work we are doing.”

“I think the Hospice means relief for a lot of people. We have our Hospice House where people come at end of life, and we go and support families to get through probably one of the most difficult times that we have,” said Flood.

She added that the money from the Dream Home Draw goes towards the programs that the Hospice provides, and running the Hospice House.

The grand prize draw will be held on December 17.
