First doses for COVID-19 vaccines rises slowly in BC

According to BC Health officials, 65.3% of BC adults, and 62.3% of those 12 and up are fully vaccinated from COVID-19.

80.7% of those 12 and older, and 81.7% of adults in the province have received their first jab.

First doses in BC have only gone up by 0.4% since Friday (July 23), as those numbers were 80.3% and 81.3% respectively.

There are 150 new cases across the province, three are in Northern Health.

783 active cases of COVID-19 are in BC, 14 of those are in the north.

Of the active cases, 44 people are in hospital and 22 are in intensive care.
