One local contracting company is trying to help out one woman who is down on her luck.
She Professional Painting and Drywall is trying to rebuild a house for a PG woman who is needs to sell it to pay for a huge amount of debt.
Owner Jennifer Funk says this woman is a single mother of two.
“She lost her father unexpectedly last year and he had no will,” says Funk, “so the weight of all that and all the legalities and all the legal fees, the funeral, landed on her shoulders, she lost her job due to Mount Polley.”
Funk says she is asking the community to come and help with the house rebuild the house in the Spruceland neighbourhood.
