Its something we all think about doing, but never seem to get around to doing: making a will.
That’s why the BC government is reminding people, especially the younger generation, to get a will made.
President of the BC Society of Notaries Akash Sablok says 80% of people between 18 to 34 don’t have a will.
“And 55% of the people in this province that should be making a will have not,” says Sablok, “so its more to raise awareness that you need to have something in place for your assets and your family when you pass away.”
Sablok says you can be 19 of years age to make a will.
He says you can speak with a BC Notary about getting a will or you can go online and download will kits.
Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
