According to Environment Canada, Prince George could see some rain and thundershowers this afternoon.
“We’re looking at an upper trough moving through the area, so that means conductive weather will be in store for the afternoon. So we have a 40% chance of showers this afternoon with a risk of thunderstorms, and that will continue into the evening,” said Meteorologist Derek Lee.
Lee says we may get a slight relief from the heat, but temperatures will still be in the high twenties over the next few days.
