PG may be in store for severe thunderstorms

Strong wind gusts, intense lightning, and bursts of heavy rain may hit Prince George tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon and/or evening, according to a special weather statement by Environment Canada.

The city has seen some wild weather the past few days, hitting 37 degrees today and crushing the 1987 record of 30.6 degrees.

The storms are expected to last for a short period of time and could range anywhere from Fort Nelson to Merritt.
