The Regional District of Fraser Fort George is reminding people that their transfer stations only accept household loads of garbage and nothing large.
External Relations Manager Renee McCloskey says a number of transfer stations have noticed large bulky items showing up more and more.
Though large items like furniture are only accepted at Foothills Landfill, McCloskey says there could be a connection between the $6 fee they charge, and people dumping garbage at transfer station.
